Why ‘making teams work’ ?

Why ‘making teams work’ ?

You may well ask. But before I answer, just take a minute to jot down your own thoughts – have you ever worked in a team that ‘just worked’? And for how long was that? And how many times has that happened for you?

Me too. Over 25 years, I (with all due respect to all my colleagues) must have experienced that ‘this is great, we are really cooking here’ feeling all of two or three times. And so, given the opportunity to step out of the corporate world, I have decided that this is my vision:

To make teams work better.

Welcome then. Please join me here for a wide-ranging discussion on teams, with some maybe random-at-times thoughts, great book references, quotes, ideas and tools all thrown in.

And if you’ve a question or thoughts of your own, join the discussion too. There may be a ‘me’ in team but Together Everyone Achieves More.

…but before you go, thinking back to that great team experience you had, what was the difference that made the difference?
